Our Story

Bilson was founded in 2024 by Richard Coles and Kamil Biel with a shared belief that true luxury begins with ownership of the craft itself. Designed for the modern man in motion, Bilson draws inspiration from a life shaped by travel, movement, and cultural discovery — balancing European heritage with a refined sense of modernity. Emerging at a time when luxury has become increasingly overstated or inaccessible, the brand creates elegant, understated pieces.  made to transition effortlessly across destinations, environments, and moments in time.

As a vertically integrated organization, our mission is to prioritize construction, premium materials, and ease over logos and noise. Bilson’s first 28-piece collection is composed of elevated essentials in linen, silk, leather, and cotton. Designed in Paris and produced entirely in-house at the brand’s atelier in Żywiec, Poland, each garment reflects a commitment to precision and restraint, merging the construction standards of Italian high fashion with the subtlety of Northern European tailoring.

The Founders

Richard Coles, Co-founder and CEO, brings over three decades of experience leading businesses across manufacturing, hospitality, and consumer goods. As the co-owner of the Coles Group in Haiti, he led the textiles and apparel division with up to 7,000 associates. At Bilson, he applies both operational rigor and a refined sensibility to build a brand from the factory floor up, ensuring clarity and consistency at every level. Coles currently lives between Paris and Poland, where the brand’s atelier is based.


Kamil Biel, Co-founder and Creative Director, lends his name and creative vision to the house. A former international model, Kamil spent years immersed in the world of European luxury fashion before returning to his hometown of Żywiec in 2023 to establish the atelier. What began with four seamstresses has rapidly grown into a team of 75 artisans in under three years. His vision is rooted in discipline and restraint—creating menswear that speaks through form, fabric, and movement rather than excess.
